INCI List Aqua (Water), Niacinamide, Glycerin, Beta-Glucan, Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan) Extract, Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Fruit Extract, Rosa Roxburghii (Chestnut Rose) Fruit Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Centella  Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Leaf Extract, Sodium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Phenoxyethanol,  Caprylyl Glycol.

Aqua (Water)
Used as a solvent and to disperse water-soluble ingredients that benefit the skin, such as skin conditioning and cleansing agents. Water also creates emulsions, which combine the oil and water components to create products like creams and serums.

Niacinamide
Niacinamide, also known as Vitamin B3, enhances skin tone, tightens pores, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improves skin barrier function. It's great for keeping your skin looking young and healthy. Niacinamide minimises the impact of environmental damage by enhancing the skin's barrier.

Glycerin
Glycerin is a skin-repairing substance that occurs naturally in the body. It's one of the most important elements for maintaining the skin's outer barrier. To keep the skin moisturised, a humectant pulls moisture from the air into the skin's outer layer. This helps to keep the skin supple, hydrated, and soft. When combined with other occlusive substances, it creates a protective barrier that prevents moisture loss, dryness, and scaling.

Beta-Glucan
Beta-Glucan derived from oats is a polysaccharide (complex sugar). It is often used as a calming agent in skincare and is considered to be an excellent ingredient for relieving redness and other signs of sensitive skin. Beta-Glucan can also improve the skin’s ability to repair itself by strengthening collagen comforts irritated skin while also protecting it from the damaging effects of UV radiation.

Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid has the extraordinary ability to attract and hold 1,000 times its own weight in water. It can draw moisture from the surrounding environment making the skin complexion nourished and supple. Hyaluronic acid is the key to plump, hydrated, and wonderfully soft skin. Considering that we lose 1% of our body’s hyaluronic acid each year, topical application is essential to moisturise, reduce inflammation, prevent water loss, and enhance skin’s elasticity and plumpness, all of which help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Panthenol
Panthenol, commonly known as pro-vitamin B5, is an emollient which can be profoundly moisturising and nourishing, with anti-inflammatory properties that aid in the relief of dry skin. Panthenol hydrates the skin and helps to reduce dryness while also improving the skin's overall suppleness.

Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan) Extract
Chondrus crispus, commonly known as red algae, contains a compound called carrageenan, which forms a flexible film on the skin that offers further protection against environmental stresses. Carrageenan extract is a mucilage derived from Irish moss seaweed that functions as a thickener, emulsifier, and stabiliser while also moisturising the skin.  Red algae's natural polysaccharides, peptides, and amino acids help skin stay hydrated, and the antioxidants present in this algae can help to protect skin from harmful airborne contaminants.

Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Fruit Extract
Originally discovered in the UNESCO world heritage listed Kakadu National Park in Northern Territory, it is known as the King of Vitamin C from Australia and the world’s richest natural source of Vitamin C. This native Australian edible super plum keeps environmental toxins out and naturally reduces the harmful effects of sun damage.

Rosa Roxburghii (Chestnut Rose) Fruit Extract
Our hero ingredient, Rosa Roxburghii fruit extract, often known as chestnut rose, is used throughout our entire range. It contains exceptional amounts of Vitamin C and P and has great antioxidant properties which help in maintaining youthful-looking skin. It is a non-fragrant component of the Rose plant which means it doesn’t impart fragrance and hence it is non-sensitising and non-irritating, unlike other floral essential oils.

Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract
Olive oil includes important fatty acids such as oleic, palmitic, and linoleic acids, which are beneficial to dry skin. It also includes phenolic chemicals, which are antioxidants. This ingredient is an efficient emollient and aids in the restoration of natural hydration.

Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Leaf Extract
Centella Asiatica is known by many names such as Gotu Kola, Indian pennywort, Brahmi, or spade leaf. Amino acids, beta carotene, fatty acids, and numerous powerful phytochemicals abound in Centella Asiatica. It has been found to have anti-inflammatory and calming properties.

Sodium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate
To ensure the product's shelf life and efficacy, it's used to stabilise the formulation. It has the ability to suspend ingredients in the formulation and also thicken it.

Phenoxyethanol
A gentle and safe preservative that is used at concentrations of less than 1% to ensure that your precious skincare does not grow any nasty bacteria.

Caprylyl Glycol
It's a versatile component that moisturises and softens the skin. Simultaneously improves the efficiency of other preservatives, such as the now-ubiquitous phenoxyethanol.

The combination of this popular duo (caprylyl glycol + phenoxyethanol) not only keeps your skincare free of nasty things for a long time but also gives the finished product a pleasant feel.

INCI List Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Squalane, Rosa Moschata Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Fruit Extract, Rosa Roxburghii (Chestnut Rose) Fruit Extract, Glycerin.

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil
Grapeseed seed oil is a by-product during winemaking as the oil is extracted from the grapeseed. A lightweight oil that has omega fatty acids such as linoleic acid and polyphenol components such as pro-anthocyanins are anti-oxidants that are 20 times greater than Vitamin E and 50 times greater than Vitamin C.

Dicaprylyl Carbonate
Dicaprylyl carbonate is a skin-conditioning agent, emollient, and solvent that helps in the absorption of other skincare ingredients.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
Caprylic/Capric triglyceride derived from coconut oil and glycerin which is an excellent emollient and skin-repairing ingredient. This is due to the skin's ability to repair its surface and resist moisture loss due to a combination of fatty acids.

Squalane
Squalane, which is found naturally in the skin's protective lipid barrier aids in the restoration of the skin's defenses as well as intense moisturising for smooth and supple skin. It also soothes and nourishes the skin while also enhancing the absorption of the serum's other active ingredients.

Rosa Moschata Seed Oil
Rosehip is a treasure from Nature that helps to revitalise and moisturise the skin. It is calming and restorative and can help maintain good collagen levels in the skin, leaving skin smooth and plump. Rosehip seed oil is a natural skin conditioner that is high in Vitamin A, fatty acids, and antioxidants. Vitamin A helps to balance out skin tone resulting in a more radiant and bright appearance.

Tocopherol
Vitamin E is a naturally occurring component of healthy skin and has powerful antioxidant properties that help protect the skin from pollution and other environmental stressors that would otherwise weaken the skin and cause undesirable changes.

It contains exceptional amounts of Vitamin C and P and has great antioxidant properties which help in maintaining radiant skin. It is a non-fragrant component of the Rose plant which means it doesn’t impart fragrance and hence it is non-sensitising and non-irritating, unlike other floral essential oils.

Glycerin
Glycerin is a skin-repairing ingredient that is present naturally in the skin. It is one of the most fundamental ingredients that help maintain the outer skin barrier. A humectant draws moisture from the air into the skin’s outer layer to keep it moisturised. This keeps the skin supple, moisturised, and soft. It also provides a protective barrier when mixed with other occlusive ingredients, which helps to prevent moisture loss, dryness, and scaling.

Ingredients we exclude

We have a strict ingredient selection criterion and choose to exclude the following ingredients from our formulations as they can be skin sensitizing or known to be environmental pollutants. We only use functional ingredients which are proven to support healthy skin barrier protection and are safe for our planet.

Silicones are synthetic polymers that are commonly used in primers and foundations as they give a smooth finish. However, the major function of skincare is to provide essential antioxidants, but silicones tend to form a barrier on the skin which can slow the penetration of these key ingredients. Hence, we don’t use silicones in our products. Silicones can also be pore-clogging and can cause skin dehydration.

Parabens are used as preservatives in food and cosmetics to preserve the formulations, but they have been known to cause irritation and sensitivity for those with sensitive skin and hence we do not use parabens in our products.

Sulphates are the cleansing agents commonly used in cleansing products. These have the tendency to strip off the skin’s protective barrier and natural lipids which can result in a broken skin barrier and sensitivity. Hence, we do not use Sulphates in our products.

We do not use Animal-derived ingredients, and we commit to only using plant-derived ingredients.

Petrolatum provides an artificial coating to the skin but doesn’t have any nourishing benefits, unlike other nourishing plant-based oils. We use high-quality botanical oils which are occlusive and nourishing to the skin.

Synthetic colours can make the product look attractive with colours that are great for marketing, but they don’t serve any functional use in skincare. We will always choose functionality and skin barrier protection over aesthetics. It can also cause irritation to sensitive skin types and hence we formulate without synthetic colours.

Synthetic fragrances can be skin sensitising and serve no functional use in skincare apart from the smell. We instead use functional ingredients like natural botanical extracts which have real benefits.

Essential oils can make the products smell nice and have some benefits, but they can also be skin sensitisers as they are concentrated chemical mixtures. Hence, we do not include essential oils in our products.

We do not use GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) as nature has plenty of bountiful options available.

Drying alcohols are known to be skin sensitisers and can cause skin dehydration. Hence, we don’t use them in our products.

Propylene glycol is known to be an environmental contaminant hence we do not use Propylene glycol in our products.

Our products do not contain Formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing agents.

EDTA is used to improve the shelf life of products but we use naturally derived ingredients like Vitamin E to extend the shelf life of our product.

Our products do not contain Phthalates and Triclosan

Our products do not contain MEA/DEA/TEA
